Sport is regarded as an integral and important part of the school program.

Infants children have a sports' program organised by individual class teachers. Primary school children can compete in either inter-school sport or play intra-school games on Friday afternoons. Students are encouraged to participate in team sports to facilitate health, fitness and camaraderie.

The school has both a Swimming Carnival and a Sports Carnival and parents are welcome to attend. Children are placed in
Houses and compete for points. at the various carnivals. The school houses are:

Macquarie (green), Scott (red), MacArthur (yellow) and Smith (blue)

Children wear house colours on the day of the carnival. Individual winners in the carnivals go on to zone events.

House points are also awarded for citizenship and class activities culminating in the Emu Cup

Children in Years 3-6 who do not attend PSSA Inter-School Sport are invited to participate in a variety of skill building activities.
