Prefects are selected at the end of year five. The
selection process is by ballot from the children in primary classes.
Prefects are expected to set a good example to the
rest of the school, showing good behaviour and a positive attitude.
They have a role in the school to help teachers,
guide visitors through the school and in general assist as required.
School Captains are chosen from the prefects.
All prefects wear their badges, so the younger
children in the school can identify them.
